I ship within the United States only.

Prints and clothing

Open-edition prints and "Wear the art" clothing are made to order by my print partners and shipped straight to you. Most orders arrive in about a week: a few business days to make, then a few days in the mail. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as it ships.

Originals and signed editions

I pack and ship these myself, usually within 2–4 business days. Originals travel crated or stretched, and you can choose insured shipping at checkout. Signed prints ship rolled in a tube. I'll send tracking when it's on its way.

Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from your ZIP code, so you only pay what it actually costs. Digital downloads have no shipping — the links arrive right after you pay.

If something goes wrong

• Please double-check your address at checkout. I can't reroute a package once it has shipped.
• If tracking hasn't moved for 10 days, or it says delivered and it isn't there, email me and I'll sort it out with the carrier or the print partner.
• If something arrives damaged, see Returns below — it will be replaced free.

All sales are final. I don't accept returns or exchanges, and I can't refund an order because you've changed your mind. Every piece is either one of a kind or made just for you, so please look closely at the photos, sizes and descriptions before you buy, and email me with any questions first.

Damaged, misprinted or wrong item

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or isn't what you ordered, email me within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the item and the packaging. I'll send a free replacement. If a replacement isn't possible — for example a one-of-a-kind original — I'll make it right with a refund.

Colour on screens

Every screen shows colour a little differently, and paper and canvas look different under different light. Small differences between the photos and the piece in your hands aren't a defect.

Commissions

Commissions are paid half upfront and half on delivery. The first half isn't refundable once I've started work, because the time and materials are already spent. You'll see a sketch before I start the final piece.

Digital downloads

Downloads can't be returned, so they aren't refundable. If a file doesn't work, email me and I'll send a fresh link.

Cancellations

Prints go into production quickly and originals ship fast, so orders generally can't be changed or cancelled once placed. If you need to fix an address, email me straight away and I'll try.

This site is run by me, Skylar Smith, an independent artist in California. I collect only what I need to sell you art and answer your messages, and I never sell or share your personal information for advertising.

What I collect

• When you buy: your name, email, shipping address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. Payment is handled by Stripe — I never see or store your card number.
• When you send a commission request or an offer: your name, email, what you wrote, and any reference images you upload.
• When you comment on a piece: the name and comment you post, which are shown publicly.
• Likes are counted anonymously with a random number your browser makes up — not your name or email.
• Your browser remembers your cart, your likes and your layout choice on your own device.

Who helps me run the shop

Your details are shared only with the services that make the shop work, and only what each one needs: Stripe (payments and sales tax), Prodigi and Printful (making and shipping prints and clothing), Shippo and the postal carriers (shipping what I send myself), Cloudflare (hosting, storage and the spam check on forms), Resend (emails) and Twilio (text alerts to me).

No tracking for ads

There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site. The spam check on forms may look at basic browser signals to tell people from bots.

How long I keep it

Order records are kept as long as I need them for taxes and accounting. Messages and commission requests are kept while we're working together and for a reasonable time after.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have about you, to correct it, or to delete it (apart from records I'm required to keep for taxes) — just email me. California residents have these rights under state law, and I extend them to everyone.

By buying from this site you agree to these terms, along with the Shipping, Returns and Privacy policies above.

Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, and shipping are added at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through. Originals are one of a kind — if two people try to buy the same piece at once, the first completed payment gets it, and the other is never charged.

Copyright

I keep the copyright to all my work. Buying an original, a print or a product gives you the object, not the right to copy, reproduce or sell the image. Digital purchases come with the licence written on the piece (personal use unless it says otherwise).

Commissions

Each commission is agreed by email: what it is, the price, the timeline and the deposit. I keep the copyright to commissioned work too, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

The site

I do my best to keep descriptions, photos and stock accurate, but mistakes happen. If something is listed in error, I'll contact you and refund you in full if I can't fill the order.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, my responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. I may update these policies from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies.
